Emilia Dahlin Hi Folks!  I have one big show for April and it's going to be immensely fun. We'll be performing, for the first time, as a quintet by welcoming Ryan Foss on baritone sax.  We'll be playing our most danceable set, so wear your dancing shoes...     Join the Telling Room at Port City Music Hall on April 7, 2011 from 6-10pm for a literary ball to benefit our free programs for youth. This event features live music by Emilia Dahlin, sparkling light forms by Pandora LaCasse, an incredible live and silent auction, and an eclectic array of food from Portland's finest restaurants.  Tickets are $50 (with some reserved at $35 according to need). The Telling Room is a nonprofit writing center in Portland, Maine, dedicated to the idea that children and young adults are natural storytellers. Focused on young writers ages 6 to 18, we seek to build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and provide real audiences for our students’ stories. We believe that the power of creative expression can change our communities and prepare our youth for future success.
