Not in the States

Here are a couple of things I think you'd be pressed to find in the U.S.:

1) Jesus Clown. This was a children's theater piece that was after our show in this non-profit space (old bus depot turned theater). It was an helarious, creative and well done piece - a clown parody on the Christmas season. I have a feeling that this wouldn't go over so well at home.

2) Tapioca. Hellem asked if I'd like to get tapioca from a street vendor. I had visions of my grandmother's creamy tapioca pudding, which I absolutely love. What I got was very different, but delicious! Tapioca flour is put in a hot pan, filled with ingredients of choice (coconut), flipped, and served. It's crispy on the outside and warm and chewy on the inside - delightful.
