The patch of green in the distance is 3 Creeks. This was taken from the top of the "Poverty Hills". The mining era and the gold rush are still present in the day to day here, from names of places, to old mine shafts, to the presence of old mining equipment rusting in the hills.
This afternoon, I find myself alone at 3 Creeks, an incredible occurrence considering there are 9 people living here. Today is a day to rest and regroup before the youth arrive for their quest tomorrow. We're all excited to meet them.
